My last Thursday with the kids at Highland indoor play center.
Pretty Elsa
Dylan teaching Tyler
My first and last vball game. I know being back to work I'll have too much to do. It's also hard since Clara's bedtime is 7ish and we're usually out there until 9. Thanks Corrie and Tiffany for helping with her so I could play one game.
I thought we should get a pic before the game, and forgot. We are gross.
Awe. Found a kitty and didn't keep it. I think this one would have kept the squirrels out!
Sweat pea
Already?!
Clara in the classroom.
Before Open House. I was working all day to get the final touches on this hole. Thankfully I was able to look in a mirror and fix myself slightly before parents showed!
Thanks for dinner daddy!
Sweet happy Julia!
Daddy teaching me how to take steps
Thankfully she just crawls around and climbs up, she's yet to get into the cupboards. She just opens and closes them.
As soon as she sees me taking a picture she tries to get my phone.
So tall.
Jer is to the left of the black guy in the back middle.
This one is too cute.
Sweet girls.
Clara stole Julia's paci and thinks it's funny.
Clara, stop growing. Pretty please.
Your pretty hair.
Dada put it back so you could see.
Sweet Elsa, look at those pj's and that SMILE!

Making a fort with Tyler.
Bath time is fun! You don't like laying back to have your hair washed but you LOVE everything else. Look at that cute butt! You like to grab anything shiny, which makes mama nervous since it's so slippery. I pour the water out of the rinse jug and you grab at it, so curious why you can't "get it" in your hand. You love to play with the wash clothes and splash all over with them.
Precious Julia.
My loves.
Having lots of fun with Daddy!
Poor Julia doesn't get a break.
Happy 3rd Birthday Tyler.
Clara not being the life of the party. She is pretty clingy when new people are around these days. I hear from Tiffy and Elisabeth that she's very nervous when new comers are around. So although I was so happy she was there for Tyler's birthday party, I felt bad for Tiffany who was trying to put on a party and Clara sounded like a handful. Thankfully Elisabeth and her daughter Altazara were there and Elisabeth helped out a ton with Clara by the sounds of it. Sorry we had the party pooper! Every party has one, right?!?!
Yummy.
Tiffy let Clara climb! So did Lisa recently. At Lisa's she flew up and down. Then Tiffany realized that's all she wanted to do so she had to keep her from them.
And keep her from Julia with the table so her slap happy hands didn't get to her so she could go change. Clara Maria is not making things easy.
My sweet morning face that I miss each day. I stick around and am "late" for work. I'm never usually really late but later than I'd like to get there. I have grand plans each morning of being 15 minutes early to get a few more things settled before meetings start which last until kids come. However, I usually find things to do around the house in hopes Clara wakes so I can see her before I go. It makes my mornings. When I don't get to see and kiss her sweet face daddy takes and sends me these. I live for them.
Probably my favorite picture in a long time. My silly sweet pea.
Haha. Dada puts lots of bows in to try and keep those darn banges out of your face. You look so cute and silly.
Sweet girls.
Shopping for new sneaks with mama.
Aunt Lisa watched you in a pinch when there was a cancelation so I could get 6 inches chopped off my ignored hair. Thanks Aunt Lisa! You were not a fan of the stairs today. Hm. I could tell you had lots of fun. You love your cherios!
Brandi and Nick were busy saucing it up this weekend!!! I can taste it all the way down here! Yummy!
I love my Labor Day long weekend with this love.
Last Friday Clara got sick, then we all got sick. She had a fever earlier in the week for two days, but acted normal. We went out to dinner on Friday night and when we got her from Lisa's and changed her into her pj's at home we noticed she could barely breathe. The nurse we called said to take her to the ER. She was clearly pooped, it was 10 or 11ish. I imagined her up at the ER, all of us up at the ER all night. I felt that would only make life worse, Clara was not able to breathe well but she was tired and content except when we bugged her to take her temp. I took her in the bathroom and let the hot shower run to try and help. We also went to get a cool mist humidifier. I didn't sleep so I could stay up and listen to her, making sure she was breathing. After about 30 minutes of the humidifier she stopped snoring and breathed okay for the night. I called Saturday am to see if she could go to her babysitters this week and they said to bring her in. They gave her a steriod that really helped. They said it was a croup cough. She sounded SO much better a few hours after the steroid. She slept best Friday night believe it or not. I think she was pooped and probably feeling sick too. Daddy didn't feel good either and I could tell I could go either way. We rested, daddy had to work Saturday anyway. Sunday night I got it all. I puked, fever, chills, body ache, head cold, ALL of it. I went from okay to WAY ill in about 2 hours. I tried to "call in" at 4am but the new system is an online thing and I couldn't get our internet to work. I didn't sleep all night. Went to work. I have never been at work so sick. We all rested this week, for the most part. We're on the mend but healing slow.
Each holiday weekend something breaks. Our water heater has been the issues two times before. It is again. Our AC broke Mother's Day weekend. It's always the start of the long weekend. So we don't have hot water and our laundry room was full of water. Needless to say we're happy we have the outdoor shower. I'm not sure what I'm going to do Tuesday am. The sun heats the outdoor shower.
Andre went to work to sell a car today (Sunday) too. Then he golfed with Jeff. Maybe tomorrow we'll go for a walk downtown when we get up before it gets too hot. I'm hoping we all feel well soon. I'm enjoying my extra day with my little love!
Clara, you're the same silly girl. You like using your hands to make noises with your mouth. You think it's funny when we cough, sneeze, blow our noses...you used to be annoyed by it. You love to chase the cat. Today the cashier at Publix said, "You have a kitty cat?" since I bought her BOGO treats and you repeated "Kitty cat" perfectly. You love to be a ham around strangers and make everyone smile, then out of nowhere you want me to pick you up. You love to ride in the cart and people watch. You look people up and down, with such curiosity. I feel like you're thinking, "Who are you? What are you doing? Why are you so close to me?" You love to see kids/babies. Some people make you smile right away and others you make work for it. If you get attention from people you smile and stare but if people don't notice you, you'll wave. You're a mama's girl when you are sick. You lay your head on my chest and let me rock you. We're getting closer and closer to a real snuggle, gosh I can't wait, but I can since I don't want you to have to be sick in order to do it. You're happy all day, making mama and dada smile. We love you.
