My poor girl was down and out on Friday. She was up Thursday night complaining her mouth hurt. I didn’t notice anything in her mouth or throat. She stayed at Miss Joes all day, our pseudo-grandparents. The good news is both of my children love being with them so I don’t feel guilty about going to work.
When I picked her up she still had a low-grade fever but seemed herself. That night she had a lot of trouble sleeping again and said her throat hurt. And on Saturday morning and she has strep throat. I feel so bad for the sweet little girl, the good news is she bounces back very quickly. It is Sunday night and we are ready for school tomorrow, and she was very much herself today after being on an anabiotic for last 48 hours now.
We had a very low-key weekend with lots of snuggles and sleepovers. As much as I hate her sick, I love taking care of my babies! Everett has a runny nose, let’s hope that’s all he gets! You did a great job staying away from Brother and touching his things, let’s hope it worked.
LOVE this!!!
Sweet little rosy cheeks!
She is a tough cookie and took the swab like a champ!
She laid on this table has an itty bitty baby, where has the time gone?
