Clara's FIRST FIELD TRIP! We went to a nature park, it was awesome! Because of Covid starting during her Kinder year, she has yet to go on a field trip. I wasn't going to miss this! The kids had a blast!
She was excited to switch out her earrings. It only lasted a day and we went back to the studs because her hair kept getting caught in the new ones.
A boy named Blake in her class draws her pictures on a regular basis.
She was swimming a lot and going to bed with a wet head. I had time to dry it. Sometimes I feel like it gets funky when she goes to bed with a wet head. We always wash it but I have to braid it or it gets tangled and hard to brush out in the am before school. It looks so good dried....she loved it.
Last day of stem.
It was silly hat day and we forgot ours at home so Clara improvised and made her own with zero help from me.
The Zims are here!!!! I've been so excited for their arrival and it's finally here! We went on a tiki ride, it was awesome! Clara is showing uncle Jonny a magic trick! ;)
We beached it and went for a stroll through the island. Super cool!
Back to the field trip. Blake and Clara managed to find their seats next to one another in most locations. Lord help me. The good news is her bf Allie always comes first!
TJ is SO big and what a sweetie, we had such a great time with him and were so glad he was able to celebrate his birthday here with us!
You can really see my hair regrowth here. I just got my second set of extensions (Beg. of June) and hopefully they last long enough to get me through until my new hair growing in is long enough to have some type of style when they come out next. I hope!!! Extensions are expensive!!!
TJ's bday party!!!!!!!!!
I love having the cousins together, the BEST!
A picture of Everett and his speech friends.
I hope next time you kids park it at our house, for a week!!!!
Busting a move
We got a nice storm we all sat out and watched.
Everett with his speech teacher, Mrs. Norato. He took in something each day to all his teachers/therapists for teacher appreciation week.

TJ meets Flower
We had a few mini drivers that did an amazing job!
Clara had been wanting to stop by the book exchange box in the neighborhood next to us. Everett enjoyed a new book too!
Clara Lane!
Clara has some pretty silly faces these days.
Mrs. McClelland's present for teacher appreciation week. I sent packets home with the kids and they filled out the books and we compiled them into one giant binder for her to keep.
Clara was the cape winner. I'm glad her teacher is awesome and recognizes that what she accomplishes is really hard work. Usually the "most" growth is all that is rewarded. However, that leaves out those kids who start at the highest in the class and stay there all year which is even harder than making growth. I've said this as a teacher for the last decade and I've always celebrated those readers in my class on my own since they are not recognized school wide. Clara DID make significant growth, 16 points actually...which is really hard to do when you're already the highest. I'm so proud of this girl, she has improved a lot this year and is reading WAY above grade level!
Impromptu pool party
Everett taking selfies and Dylan photobombing him.
Kyrioko's birthday party at a jump place, super fun!
Everett would live in this ball pit if he could.
Everett's bff Talyn. She plays with him everyday and I learned his PT had her come along sometimes to their sessions because she is so helpful to him by motivating him and he loves her. I'm going to miss this for him next year. I hope the new bunch "gets" him, I'm so thankful for these past two years with the sweetest bunch.
Filling the fish tank
We visited the Bradley's while they were down, Everett got tuckered out.
It was so nice seeing them! <3
