Clara has been sleeping in her big girl bed for over a week now. She started napping in there for the first few days and then we tried all night. She does great! The only reason she gets out is to get books to read in the dark.
One other time she got lotion and a calm from the basket in her room and pretended to put lotion on Nunu and comb his hair. She can open the lotion container, but didn't. I had to go in and tell her if she wants to stay in her Big girl bed she has to stay in bed!! One time was all it took, and she listens! She is such a good girl!
She has fallen out, so we placed couch cushions on the outside of it until she moves around less. She is already improving a ton and only allowing her legs to hang off. We may move her crib into Everett's room now, I'm just afraid she might start getting out and I want to be able to confine her if necessary. I don't need another child keeping us up all night!
Way to go Clara!
Try adding a pool noodle under her fitted sheet. It acts as another barrier to keep her in and not roll out. And check under the bed if she ends up missing in the morning. I about had a heart attack when LBA was "missing" one morning.
