Everett trying to hold Buddy is both hysterical, cute and terrifying. His hands slip and end up on his neck, or he picks him up from his belly like I taught him but from behind and then Buddy is upside-down. It's like Buddy knows it's accidental, he's still kind to E unless both kids are bothering and overwhelming him and then he may raise a paw to push them away or swat if he's really serious, claw free...
Everett just loves him so much he wants to hold him all day.
Dreams coming true
Where's Buddy?
This is how Everett holds his hands when he is asking to hold him...
I make sure Everett is the treat giver on a regular basis so he is loved. At first (like his food) he didn't want to touch it and now he is feeding Buddy out of his hand.
That chunky hand and thumb
This is the face Everett makes when he's cozy and in love. He does it with his favorite stuffies as we cuddle him in bed or after he naps and he's tired and snuggly.
This is the face from far away, he tucks his bottom one under...
holding hands
As fumbly as his fingers can be sometimes, he's very good at cat pets, as long as he doesn't go too close to his tummy
