It took way too long to get here, it feels so good to be home! We slammed so much into a week I cannot believe all we did! We did save a couple things to look forward to for next time. It was unfortunate that Everett was under the weather for a few days, but he was a trooper per the usual.
On the last day we went to see mom and plant some flowers. Of course Brandace had everything we needed in .5 seconds. The kids were great helpers!
We went to 4695 and rang the bell. I wanted to see if it was okay to take the kids to the backyard. They were not home but the owner said, "Hi" through the ring doorbell. She said she could take us through the house at 4:30 when they got home, that was SO nice!!! Of course I waited until the last day and we had to get to the airport. Next time.
The old engravings "down back" at the garage
Took a nice stroll down back
A little trickle in there
We left when the kids were both on their last leg. Clara was toast. Lots of late nights and so much fun came to an end and they were both done for.
Last stop, Grandpa's...he took us to the airport. Goodbyes are awful.
I'm glad Everett was able to pull off the Circus. It was hot and muggy and he can't handle it so he was lethargic, but he snapped out of it when we got in the AC in the car. Wherever we go in FL in the heat he is unable to function.
Toast
Going out with a bang!
The line in security wasn't that long but he still had to take breaks and sit.
He let me put "earplanes" in, Nick grabbed them for him because Fi uses them. He did great on the plane. He is a champ.
The "unborn" when we took our first photo, these cuties will have to replicate this down the road.
This is how the pic retake started.
Then we got serious and did it right.
So happy to be back with Daddy!
The infamous pretzel face
Loved the copper slopper's new addition.
I hate that Everett was sick for this, Midway would have been his JAM. He and I stayed home to rest.
This pic is priceless.
Sleepover Central
Beef for our last meal
I almost peed my pants during these moments. Years ago Kathy told me that at her funeral she wants everyone to wear their best lipstick. I let her know I've never been taught how to apply. Let's just say I have the BEST footage and I'll now show up prepared in 40 years when she calls it quits.
Merrissa took some great pics I stole of Circus events. It was hard to get pics because E was snuggled on my lap the whole time. The kids loved it.
My personal fave
