Fall Fun!

Someone loves his dada!

And swinging.

They were stacking blocks together. She would build and he'd knock them down, I love when they play together.

Our therapy was canceled as we pulled out of the driveway before Thanksgiving break. It takes so much to pack up the car by 7:30 I was not willing to unpack and go inside. So, we went to my school to see everyone. Clara helped pass out the kids' morning work.

Then we played on the playground before we left.

We spent Friday night at Lisa and Ed's trying their green egg pizza, it was delish. Everett passed out and we all went to Ed's RV since Clara begs on a regular to go inside. We hung out in there for a while as Clara peed 20 times because it was so cool.

I have to wake Everett to leave, he won't transition of course. Clara was so hyper and over tired that she wanted to hold Everett. He was so tired but SO tolerant, as usual.

This little lady had a half birthday! Where does the time go?

We went down to visit dad. Nap time!

Everett loves the pool! Thanks dad for warming it up!

Clara goes to the home improvement store with daddy on a regular. She loves going by the Christmas decor section!

She was well behaved and earned a treat...a troll!

Halloween and then some…

Of course we have a very sick Bubs on Halloween. Poor baby.

Nora and a very big pumpkin.

Part of Clara's bday present was riding rides at the mall.

October is National Down  Syndrome Month. There are so many worries I have for Everett with development in general.  This post reminded me of all the other issues we face. The good news is,  I'm on top of  it all, ensuring we attend all necessary appointments. So far so good, although I do worry about his sleep. He cannot sleep through the night. He wakes nightly from about 2/3 for two hours. I worry a lot about his development with the lack of sleep. He plays by himself in his crib, I don't tend to him. When I try and rock him to sleep, it takes just as long and he's almost more annoyed with my attempts since I don't take a bottle in, he gets more upset. I don't want  to get into the habit of feeding him in the night and I have to watch his weight so feeding him to get him to sleep isn't an option although I know it would help. I do think some of his waking is teething but pain medication doesn't do the trick. I'm considering trying melatonin, just for a short stint to see if it helps. Recently I've tried essential oils, lavender, to help Clara fall asleep. I've switched  it into his room to see if  it'll help him stay asleep, no go. I'll figure it out Bubba boy, don't you worry!

Decorating Nunu with Halloween stickers that my students gave to me for her.

Sick visit.

Brandi sent a really amazing package, treats for  all and Clara's bday present. These balloons had lights in them, she loved them, along with everything else.

Ready to go trick-or-treating. Same costume with some extra accessories from Kristin.

Sorry Clara Beara, we took advantage  of your age and interest in kitties and didn't do a new outfit for you. Next year!

Clara liked having us blow up the balloons and letting them fly, you can see one in action.

This little sissy loves her Bubba so much. She was unhappy that he wasn't coming with us for trick or treating.

We went back to our hold neighborhood to trick or treat. It was so nice to see everyone and we went to Nancy's house of course. She spoiled us  with not only treats but FOOD! We miss her and her food so much. I  don't think we'll ever find another neighbor so amazing.

This little girl had five pieces of candy and was bouncing off of walls. I have video clips that I  need to add, she was out of control.

Some pics from others on this festive Holiday.

Bets and Elsarooski carvin some pumpkins!

Fi! I've never seen this sad face. Elsa makes it look like she pinched her little booty. AAAANnnd, I love the pumpkins.

Cal is getting TOO big!

V's hair looks so real!

We missed Ajae so much. Last year was so much fun without her. No holiday will be the same. We miss you pumpkins!

I don't know if this is Halloween or not, but a cute pic of a toothless Alton nonetheless.

This face swap is so funny. Clara's hair is coming out of Andre's eyebrows. Creepy!

FaceTime with AJae for Clara's bday.

Clara is using all her tools to see small objects, binoculars AND a "magna" glass as she  callsit.

Clara used some of her money from Aunt Linny and Uncle Zimmer to get new boots which of course means we need to bring out the horse, lasso, and hat. She was a ridin and a ropin.
