9 Week Update

Ana and Jonny are here this week. Thankfully I've had about 4 good days in a row, this is a record. Their last day I was down and out and Ana was kind and let me lump on the couch all day before taking her to the airport. We took Jonny early this am. The good news is I'm on Spring Break this week! I'll be posting about their stay ASAP!

8 Week Update

Hi little nugget! Daddy and I saw you last week and heart your fast heartbeat! It really made us realize you’re with us and it’s thrilling. I have not been feeling well. Since week six I’ve been very sick all day. The doctor referred to Andre as daddy and we both looked around wondering who she was talking to. It was a strange and neat realization. We’re hoping you’re growing happy and healthy and can’t wait to meet you. The farther along I get the more real it seems for us. Here is a picture of the peanut at 8 weeks.
We continue to stay busy trying to get the house just as we want it with time to spare to relax. We've finished the bathroom. Now we have a bathtub between our Jack n' Jill bedrooms for the baby. We have a four bedroom three bath house so there is plenty of space for a baby and the guests we love to have. We had two guest rooms complete and the last guest room was basically empty. We're now moving the guest room to the empty because it leads out to the pool so our guests can have access to the outside. We'll make the old guest room the baby room. Both rooms are nice and bright. Here are picture of the bathroom project.

March 4, 2013

Well, I’m sitting on my rear again so I’m trying to be “productive” and update the page. My marvelous husband is hard at work as usual putting our house back together. We recently updated our bathroom, the Jack and Jill one between two of the bedrooms. I am seven weeks pregnant today and couldn’t be more nauseous and exhausted yet thrilled all at the same time. I got to the six week mark and realized I’d be in that 75% that feels like crap all day. Morning sickness is the understatement of the century. It’s all day long, morning being the worst, but it’ll all be worth it, or so I tell myself as I gag while look or think about any food.

Andre’s finishing the bathroom and the bedroom. We finally got our laundry room tiled and back together last week. Our bathroom project leaked into other rooms as always. We had to tear up the carpet in the first guest bedroom because it got wet. He’s been finishing the tile, cutting baseboards, painting baseboards, mudding, etc. He is so motivated and I love him for it. He can do or fix anything, if he’s not quite sure how (very rare) he’ll find out how and his perfectionism keeps everything looking so nice. Normally I’m his right hand lady but lots of the products he’s using I shouldn’t inhale and he’s so over protective it’s sweet. I help with the things I can and have been resting, feeling so lazy but I don’t have much of a choice, it’s driving me crazy!
