Two weeks of pure bliss...

I could put my kids in bed, walk away and be extremely productive, but what fun is that?! So, instead I cuddle them both as long as I can until my anxiety about how much I have to do takes control and I must stop staring at them and get something done. It was day one when we had our snuggle schedule down pat. I'd put E in bed at the off chance he'd fall asleep, read to Clara and spend some one on one time with her that I miss so much, go back and rock him while she watches brainpop (educational videos) on my phone, go back and cuddle her until we both fall asleep and I'm out for all of ten minutes until I wake gasping for air with 1 billion to do's running through my head which never allows me to fall back to sleep so I then take pictures of my beauties so I can remember it forever and ever and then run around like a chicken with my head cut off getting a little bit of 1 billion things done but accomplishing not one entire task and then everyone is awake and ready to play.

Practicing eating a the big kid table, he loved it, since he got to be with his sissy.

Time for bubbles, the wind blew them away a bit too fast.

Popcorn maker! One of Clara's favorite xmas gifts!

Lots of new bath toys!

I'm so deeply in love.

Can our time at home together please never come to a close.

They love each other so much!

Finally caught the smile, too bad it's blurry.

It's the most wonderful time, of the year!

I started taking video so I need to upload that so I have better proof daddy lifted her to the tippy top of our Charlie Brown tree to put that star on. We were going to get a big tree for our patio but the sun beats on it and we were afraid it would dry out after a week. So we got a C. Brown tree for the house since there is no space for a real one and we risk Everett pulling it down. I think, THINK he'd leave it alone but the lack of space made it worth going small this year.

Everett helps with the lights of course!

We got TWO charlie b trees, one for the porch still. Clara was pretty sad we wouldn't have one outside so the guy at Lowes gave us a mini he was going to dump. I'll need to photograph that for sure, true Charlie Brown.

Waiting for daddy in the car, just playing around.

Us at a Christmas party at the Elk's Club, I have more pics from this on another post.

Fun in Aunt Leesie's wine room

After fun at Lisa's Everett had an Asthma attack. He woke and couldn't breathe, like usual, but no fever. He didn't sleep all night, but I have the nebulizer at home and felt confident he was doing okay although it sounded like he was breathing heavily in and out of a black bar straw. It's so scary but we've been down this path before and other than getting a steroid we wouldn't get much more from a trip to the ER. It's amazing how you can get used to these situations and stay "calm", I just rock him all night so he can get sleep and I purposely stay awake to listen to his breathing. He was doing better than he ever has in the past the next day. Saturday night he was up about five times but I only gave him medicine before bed and I could put him down comfortably. I'm not sure if his cough is from asthma but he has a nagging, infrequent cough...Andre and Clara have it too. I think he needs to stay away from dander and dust, I'm not sure, I'm just guessing but I'm hoping with more experience we can continue to narrow it down. This is the little man asleep in the rocking chair after I snuck out, although a nose breather, his low muscle tone can't keep those cute little lips that he now smacks alone.

If she could be anything, she'd be a pink kitty, forever.

UUUUuuuuuuummmmmmm, he simply cannot get cuter. Hello ladies!

Little bubby getting so big.

Someone is taking a picture of daddy instead, even jumping pictures.

Clara's "waiting area" in her classroom. She loves to be the first one there.
