One of Andre's co-workers has been a member at the Elk's club for 30 some years and has been so sweet since we've had Everett. He and his wife invited us to a Christmas event. It was a lot of fun.
We had a very big Saturday. Before the Elk's we went to Gigi's playhouse that's going to open near us. Gigi's is a FREE place for Down syndrome children, siblings, families...to go and get therapy, tutoring, support, play, life skills, FOREVER. It's a clearly an important place for many. We don't have time for it in our lives now, but I know that OT/PT/Speech in school isn't going to be enough for Everett. I watch, I see how lax the therapists are in public school and how much does not get done. So, I know this will be a great resource for us down the road and wanted to introduce ourselves and meet people. It was a great experience.
Clara got her face painted with the Grinch, which was fitting since the face painting lady was a Grinch.
Rare form, so much going on today, very excited little girl knowing she was going to meet Santa and get a present.

Santa walked out and grabbed Everett from Andre to hold in front of the crowd, so cute. He was too confused about who the heck was holding him to cry.
They both had such a great time, Everett was cracking up, loving his new toy.
First time she sat on Santa's lap since she knew better and didn't cry. She REALLY wanted that present.
She was ready to open in on his lap. There were a lot of kids, and no time for that...
She got a really cute Mini drum set, Everett got Thomas the Train piggy bank.
Christmas work party!
Sat on Santa's lap yet again. Atta girl. This place is in Tiffany and Steven's neighborhood. An impromptu stop. The Grinch stands by the road dancing, in a great costume. Santa is very friendly. There is a donation box and their house is very done up with lights. It's a great stop. Clara didn't sit on his lap last year though. Everett sat because sissy was there.
